One million children in Honduras received Albendazole tablets in February/March of 2009 because of the donation from MAMA Project, Food for the Hungry, and The Worm Project.  They were distributed through the Healthy Schools Program, a program led by the First Lady of Honduras.  We also gave one million more deworming tablets to the Healthy Schools Program to give the children their 2nd dosis six months later.

Recently another 1.5 million Albendazole tablets were donated from MAMA Project to the Healthy Schools Program for distribution in 2012.  We are grateful that with the help of our friends, we can continue to deworming the children of Honduras.
