MAMA Project has been involved
in helping students in Honduras since 1989 and in Haiti since
1999. Being able to attend school makes an enormous difference
in the lives of children and youth who would otherwise find
themselves without a chance for education.
We are now
able to rejoice with many young adults who have started giving
back to others in their own countries since receiving help
from sponsors in the US--and the Hondurans and Haitians who
work with MAMA for the benefit of these scholars.
Since the January earthquake in Haiti,
MAMA has been sharing large quantities of medicines and
material aid with several different organizations. Dan
Ziegler has been collecting and shipping containers of
materials to send to Haiti to be distributed. You can
see more information by downloading this
document or going to the website at www.jdjeeps.com Also
the Tree of Life school has seen an increase in the
need for scholarships. If you are interested in
sponsoring a student, see the information below. Lastly,
to read more information about a team that was in Haiti during
the earthquake and how to school has been affected, please
read our January/February 2010
newsletter.
