-- 1 hand towel
-- 1 washcloth
-- 1 comb
-- 1 metal nail clipper
-- 1 bar of soap (bath size)
-- 1 toothbrush
-- 1 tube of toothpaste
-- 6 band-aids
Bundle all items into a bath towel and tie it with ribbon or yarn.
* Baby Kits
-- 4 cloth diapers
-- 2 shirts
-- 2 washcloths
-- 2 gowns or sleepers
-- 2 diaper pins
-- 1 sweater or sweatshirt
-- 2 receiving blankets (one can be a knitted blanket)
Wrap items inside one of the receiving blankets and secure with diaper pins.
* School Kits
-- 4 spiral-bound notebooks (approx. 8"x11") -- 70-80 pages each
-- 4 unsharpened #2 pencils
-- 1 plastic or wood ruler, showing both 12" and 30 cm. (flexible plastic preferred)
-- 1 package of 16-24 crayons or 12-16 colored pencils
-- 1 large, rectangular "chunky" pencil eraser (no ink combination or pencil-top erasers)
Remove packaging from eraser, pencils, and ruler. Tape pencils together with masking tape. Lay the
notebooks, alternating the spirals from side to side. Place the ruler at an angle between the notebooks to protect it.
Place the pencils beside the notebooks. Place the crayons and eraser on top of the notebooks. Put in bag with
ties. Tie the bag closed as if you were tying shoes.
