Prevention & Control of Noma in Nigeria
Dr. Priscilla Benner and Dr. Cyril Enwonwu of the University of Maryland Dental School are working together on this outreach.

Our Child Survival Course and other materials focus on noma as a marker of the conditions that render children vulnerable to death by infection.  Noma control as a public health problem in poor countries where it is found will be an indicator of progress in assuring that children have access to basic child survival interventions such as immunizations, deworming, and micronutrients.  Please visit our Educational Materials webpage to see more about this Child Survival Course.
