Every team
needs to be oriented, or they will be DISORIENTED. There is no
way for people traveling to a new country for the first time
to completely avoid CULTURE SHOCK, but there are some
important issues that visiting service teams need to address
to avoid doing damage to the very people that they wish to
serve, and to reap the greatest benefits for themselves, their
future ministry, the people that they wish to relate to, and
the KINGDOM of GOD.
Even if you are not committed
to a team, but are interested in investigating the work
of MAMA Project, come to the scheduled meetings as listed
below. We look forward to meeting you!

We need to know about the
vaccines that you will need at least one week
ahead of time. Also let the Dr. Herman know of your attendance at least
one week prior. Check this website periodically for changes.
In
addition to attending an orientation, we recommend that you
download and read the Service Team Manual. It has a lot
of helpful information regarding teams going to Honduras.
